Trouble on My Mind

As of recent, I can't get certain things off my mind. Not so much while Im awake, but more while I'm asleep. That might contribute to my lack of sleep, and why I'm always so tired. I don't know whats triggering this all of a sudden. Stress? Unhappiness? Whatever it is, it feels unhealthy. I'm starting to feel like Tyler, the Creator. OF.

Suggestions from a dear friend.

It's hard to believe, but as immature as I am one of my greatest friends told me i grew up too fast. She said I take things too seriously. I learned I need to learn to stop viewing this as life and death, that I don't need to hurry everything i do. I know there is a lot of life to live, but in the moment it feels like im running out of time. So I decided to take things slower. I don't need to become a designer over night, I don't need to find someone I'm going to marry yet, and I can't hurry ideas. Time limits are made for the work place, and rewarding yourself is always a good idea. That enough of my rant today.

Tumblr.

I joined the Tumblr crowd this week. It's weird, but fun. What I noticed about Tumblr, though, is it's a bunch of kids trying to show originality by reposting and reblogging things other people already posted. There is a real lack of originality in this world, and I'm going to try to bring it back. I'll be posting more original works on Tumblr from now on and I'm going to use this for my crazy, useless rants.

In my opinion, Bruno Mars really stepped his game up in this video. We all loved the original music video for The Lazy Song, but this video is hilarious. From the grocery store, to Shatner and other Trek references, to the jay at the end, the video killed it! Enjoy the video, its one of the better releases now adays.

Kanye West All of the Lights Music Video Directed by Hype Williams

This is Kanye West's brand new music video for this 4th single off of his latest album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The video starts off with a little girl talking around as the 'All of the Lights (Interlude)' plays, Then the footage gets a little ravey. Words flashing on the screen, and scenes of Mr. West appear, as well as Rihanna. More colors, a cop car, Kid Cudi in a red leather jack. The video is really good, in my opinion. Not as epic as 'The Runaway' version, but fun an eye catching.

"The Black Mamba" Directed by Robert Rodriguez

This is the Nike x Kobe Bryant short film starring Kobe Bryant as The Black Mamba, Robert Rodriguez as himself and Kanye West as The Boss. It also has guest appearances by Bruce Willis and Danny Trejo. It's short, but definitely worth a view or two.

B Movie - a film about Banksy

While i was blog crawling I stumbled across this video. Banksy has been going public more then usual lately. I think the extra media attention 'Exit Through the Gift Shop' got him made him into an even hotter topic amoung documentary makers and fans. In my opinion, Banksy will go down in history as one of the great artists of our time.

Radiohead - The King of Limbs

Today, Radiohead announced their 8th studio album entitled 'The King of Limbs'. Not much is known about this album. On the website they have 4 preorder versions (2 "newspaper" albums and 2 digital copies). I couldn't find a tracklisting or any solid information, but 'The King of Limbs' digital download release date is February 19th, and the physical copy will drop March 28th.

Halo: Combat Evolved Reboot

Look out holiday season! Looks like Microsoft's money making machine is expecting a reboot this November. Microsoft plans on re-releasing 'Halo: Combat Evolved' for the Xbox 360 in HD. GameSpy says its "a safe bet." The Combat Evolved remake will feature "new" art assets, as well as an updated button configuration (to make it more like the newer installations to the franchise). It will also be in 1080p and support 3D televisions. But, most importantly, releasing this game on Xbox 360 means it will most likely be able to be played online via Xbox Live. More to be announced as the information becomes available.

The Dark Knight Rises

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was added to to the list of stars appearing in Christopher Nolan's newest installment to the Batman series, 'The Dark Knight Rises'. He joins Tom Hardy (who is casted to play Bane), and Anne Hathaway (as Catwoman), as well as Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman. Mr. Gordon-Levitt would make an amazing Riddler, but according to Nolan the Riddler won't make an appearance in his final installment to the Dark Knight series. This leads people to believe he might take on the role of Hugo Strange, or who knows maybe Robin.

Kid Cudi, Doing it really big this year. Not only does he have his tour coming up for MOTM2, he's working on some new tracks with Jay-Z and Kanye West. Some of these track will most likely be on his upcoming mixtape, 'A Man Named Scott' that will be released later on this year.

Other things in the works for Mr. Rager:

• Wizard, a rock album collaboration with Dot da Genius coming out this summer.
• The 'Maniac' short film directed by Shia Lebouf featuring Cage.
