Kanye West got us covered: Complex Dec'10 / Jan'11
If you haven't seen already, the cover of Complex magazine is the one and only Kanye West. I took some time to check out the article and the gallery posted. Its a very interesting read. They interview the likes of Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, Q-tip, and Rick Ross along with a couple others. It really shines a light on Mr. West's recording technique and his personality outside of the negative media. The gallery was also pretty entertaining. My favorite picture was the one of his rules taped onto the wall of one of the studio rooms. Check the article out for yourself at Complex's website.

Dazed Digital x Daft Punk
Daft Punk made the cover of Dazed magazine's December issue today. What makes it so special is its a 3D issue to look to the "future" (current trend) of media. The video really caught my attention. I'm not to familiar with the magazine, but scrolling through the website intrigued me.

Reimagining Pokemon by Akaitera
Anyone who talks to me knows I'm a Pokemon fan. I stumbled across a few images today that brought Pokemon to a whole new level. The artist's goes by Akaitera. Whoever that is is very talented.

iTunes Announcement x Gizmodo
So, Apple just announced that The Beatles' back catalog can now be purchased on iTunes. The hype leading up to the announcement was pretty disappointing. Shortly after Gizmodo posted an article about things we would have rather seen. Its pretty comedic. I recommend you take a look.

Reminder: Kanye West x SNL: 10/2/10
In honor of Kanye West's new album, I decided to remind people about how much of an artist Mr. West is. Not just a musician, but a straight up artist. These are his performances from SNL to promote his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, in stores November 22nd.
I like the alternate verse in "Power", it's more complex and hits harder. I feel its gives the song more depth. I downloaded the leak of his new album, and I'm planning on picking it up again on the 22nd. Its a little more artistic than his other records, and it works in his favor. The tracks are extended from the single versions, some could have used a little bit of trimming, but that's not for me to decide. He also decided not to put 'Chain Heavy' and 'Momma's Boyfriend' on the album. I was disappointed in these exemptions, but his next single, All Of The Lights, more then makes up for the missing tracks. Let's just hope he puts them on a mixtape in the future.

Hereafter x RT Review
I had high hopes for the movie, but i'm not going to knock the hustle. To me, the film sounds like the love child of The Sixth Sense and Inception. I'm still going out to see Clint Eastwood's newest film. Check it out for yourself, Hereafter was released October 15th.

All of the Lights
So awhile back, someone leaked this song onto the internet. This almost ruined G.O.O.D. Friday. But now Kanye West is releasing this song as his 3rd single off his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Drake is no longer on the song, but don't get too bummed out, the new list of artists on this song has blown up. Here's a list of people on the track: Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Elton John, Fergie, John Legend, The Dream, Kid Cudi, Charlie Wilson, Ryan Leslie, Elly Jackson and Tony Williams. Should drop soon, Hopefully Friday.

RIP Nujabes
I can actually tell you where I was when I heard my first Nujabes track. I was walking in Seoul, Korea waiting to board a plane to the Philippines. Me and my cousin Mark were talking about music, and he handed me his iPod and told me to listen to this song, Kumomi. I jotted down the name and made sure I picked up some tracks as soon as i could.
The man behind the music, Seba Jun, passed away in a car accident in Tokyo on February 26th. Today his record label, Hydeout Productions, released an official statement confirming his death. They also stated, although he is dead, his music will live on forever. He left behind some music to continue his legacy, expect it to drop sometime in the near future.
Rest in Peace Nujabes.

According to Infinity Ward, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is coming out with 3 new maps on March 30th, Along with 2 maps from the original Modern Warfare. Along with the 3 new maps (Bail Out, Salvage, and Storm) they're bringing back Crash and Overgrown. Can you say 'Snipe City'?
