Reminder: Kanye West x SNL: 10/2/10

In honor of Kanye West's new album, I decided to remind people about how much of an artist Mr. West is. Not just a musician, but a straight up artist. These are his performances from SNL to promote his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, in stores November 22nd.

I like the alternate verse in "Power", it's more complex and hits harder. I feel its gives the song more depth. I downloaded the leak of his new album, and I'm planning on picking it up again on the 22nd. Its a little more artistic than his other records, and it works in his favor. The tracks are extended from the single versions, some could have used a little bit of trimming, but that's not for me to decide. He also decided not to put 'Chain Heavy' and 'Momma's Boyfriend' on the album. I was disappointed in these exemptions, but his next single, All Of The Lights, more then makes up for the missing tracks. Let's just hope he puts them on a mixtape in the future.
